This year we received more than 20 applications from around the world, of which a total of 11 candidates were selected for interviews. After careful deliberation, the Advisory Working Group decided to invite 7 successful applicants to join the delegation. Among other things, this decision was based on geographic distribution, gender diversity, disease-focus and community representation.
